Website and Forum Upgrade

Post by JonT »

Early warning that the software that we use to run our site and forum is due an upgrade. I will wait until we are safely on the other side of the year change and then do it. The site will be down for a short ( [-o< ) time while the upgrade takes place. Once this is complete I will also upgrade the Tapatalk server which I know some people make use of.

I’m did have a bit of a wobble tot be honest. It’s been a quiet day on the forum and until Colin posted I wasn’t completely sure I hadn’t locked everyone except me out of the site. Eek!

Anyway all seems to be well. Thank goodness.

Thanks Jon. The only thing I have noticed is that there are no Skeleton Crew icons on meterboard anymore. I assume that we don't record the January Revolutions Challenge due to the multiple options.

Thanks for reporting on Iain.

I can see the skeleton crew bones. I wonder why you can’t.

As far as I recall, there is no “honour board” for January Revolutions and so no way of grabbing the names of people who have completed the challenge.

Wierd, still missing for me on multiple browsers and devices. The icon appears in the list but not against any names.

Is anyone else seeing this missing?

I have the same. The Skeleton Challenge was end of October, but no-one has this icon.

I can’t click on the icons because I am not home, but the skeleton crew challenge is the bone (as far as I recall), the skull is for the adaptive version I think. Collette has one at position 61 on the board.

Does that sound right? Hard to drill down in to this without a PC.

No problem at all Iain. I would much prefer people looking at the site and pointing things out than just remaining silent.

I actually think we probably had the skull and the bone the other way round at some point. Not sure how I managed to switch them over at some point.
