Time for an update, @JonT - there are some heroic performances going on.

Interestingly, if you filter by Virtual, and then ignore the Diamonds Mega-team which seems to account for the top 2 places, then the next three positions (Age Without Limits, German friends, us) are close, although they're starting to pull away a bit...

So were the top 4 on the meterboard, but all but Dwayne have significantly dropped their distances since then. Well done Alan and William for continuing your impressive performances on all of the distance challenges ^O^

Hi Iain,
It's easier for us retired folk as we have more time than people that are still working. Thanks for the compliment though 😳!

Not posted any meters for a few days. I have been unable to row as I am suffering from a particularly painful episode of gout plus I was hanging a door in my shower room and reawakened an old muscle injury in my right bicep. So frustratingly not adding anything to the cause and will soon be dropping down the metre board too. Hopefully be back soon.. 😁

We’ve slipped to 11th, with Ariel Toy bearing down on us, and Silent Water Neufeld opening up a gap ahead of us. It’s all hands to the handle folks. I’m away from home but will back mid week - not that I match the folks putting in major metres.

Hi gang,

I've developed a cold-could be I've been overdoing it a bit and my system is run down.

Really struggled today so I'm taking tomorrow off and see if a day's rest helps.

I'm passing the baton to Mike to keep our team score going 😉.

Thanks Alan, but pails next to yours. Unfortunately limited time to row during the week, so won't add a vast amount more. Looks like 13th will be where we finish :(

Hi Iain,

For context mine were relatively relaxed rows of 18 x 2k with 2' rest yesterday at 2:41/500 pace yes that's 2:41/500 pace and today a cold ridden 9 x 4k with 2'rest at again 2:41/500 using DF100@r19. So SLOW!

That's faster than I intended to go for at least 12 hours of the million Alan and I am a few years younger!

As others have pointed out. it looks like we are locked in to 13th spot (an improvement on 16th last year). One thing I don't understand is why we always do far better in the World Erg Challenge event than the Virtual Team Challenge.

Well done to all who have contributed and special thanks to our 'Heros' and 'Superheros'

I'm sorry to hear that Alan. Best of luck for a speedy recovery! You have helped the team tremendously in the VTC, so a rest is well deserved (and needed it seems).
