Wolfie, I look back with nostalgia on the days of the Evesham Golden Mile and meeting you and other FS for the first time.

Tako, I have no secrets about rowing. I started it very late in life, having my first race at BIRC in 2003 when I discovered that rowing the 2K using the “fly and die” technique didn’t work

Plummy, I hope your long journey back to good health and fitness will not try your patience too much. Take care

I get on the erg twice a week and have never been much of a “metre muncher”, in fact it’s only been over the last four years that
I have worked up to 1 million metres per year.

I have worked out that to reach the same points total I got for the Nonathlon 1k last season, I would need to knock 33 seconds off my WR. Even Clark Kent would be hard pressed to achieve such an improvement

I do, well, I did, well, kinda sorta... (been a bit lax on it to be honest). That said, I think that it was set up for FS'rs who attended formal, recognised race meets/organised events rather than ad-hoc at home challenges, Having said THAT, I have no objection to changing the rules (if there were any) to recognise Pepe's incredible achievements (though I feel his entry is going to need a LOT more lines very soon)
