Won’t be 100% effort from my side this month either, but will put a score in as all count

Re: July CTC: 9 x 333 r1'
Thanks Spider, was pleasantly surprised myself, early on was concentrating on maintaining 2 full breaths a stroke and maintained 30SPM, then it becomes a bit of a blur... I suspect at least some was anaerobic as felt in many of the rests that I would never stop panting, ignore the last as a stroke requires the legs to move and they weren't at the end!

Nice result Iain.
Quite likely there's not much more there. Can't see me holding 42s throughout....

Great result Ian.
I had half an eye on you, and was ok after 4 reps but couldn't keep it up.
Petered out a bit for 10:22.7 / 43.8 / 31
Had to finish and put a time in as off on hols the weekend!

Re: July CTC: 9 x 333 r1'
Well done all. Interesting one this… if you get the pace right then it doesn’t really hurt until the last couple. If maybe I went too easy early on?
Either way, I’m away much of this week so figured I’d best get my go in now…

Re: July CTC: 9 x 333 r1'
I was looking for 1:50 pace but that was never going to happen given the lack of power work I have been doing. Pleased I saw sense and kept it steady throughout and finished. That’s me for this month I think.

This is one of the CTCs where I just put in a controlled effort to enter a score for the team, no full throttle. Happy with the numbers though.

Ladies, please help us to float
An undermanned desolate boat
You don’t have to be quick
Your own pace you can pick
And you’ll add to the score line (please note)

Dear Philip -
Because of your heartfelt request
I'll take part is this scary team test
I think we all know
That my pace will be slow
Cos my ' talents ' long ago ' all went west '
It's in writing now so I will have a go tomorrow.

Dear Jill
Your response has given me heart
I’m so pleased that you want to take part
In this tough CTC
And I’m sure you will be
Raring to go from the start

Well managed to -ve split - as others have noted done correctly the last 2 are tuff. Think I shot my bolt on R8 as upping spm barely improved the split so pacing probably spot on!!!

Re: July CTC: 9 x 333 r1'
Thank you all for the contributions for the team!
Great to see Brit back with FS and thank you Jill, great to be in the same boat with you!
Is there maybe another lady out there that can help float the last boat? Would be great to leave no member on shore.
