Great 2K Mat!
I still intend to do a slow 2K before the end of the month. Meanwhile...
FS1 has only four seats filled.
FS2 also has only four seats filled.
Four days of the month remaining.

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2022-23
FS2 is now 5 seats filled and OMG cough cough cough, ha ha ha, cough cough cough. Well it's been 8 years since I ranked a 2k it wasn't pretty but at least it's done, cough cough cough. Time irrelevant as it was just for the team

Another one added for FS2. Nowhere near what i used to do, but virtually no rowing so just getting in a score for the team

Trying to make this season the season of the PB!

And another one for FS2
. Still very unfit compared to what I have been in recent years and not much time for rowing recently but I still harbour hopes of being able to complete a 10k by the end of next month. As usual this wonderful team competition is keeping me motivated (even if it may not seem so from the meterboard!) Well done to all who have posted times. Louise

Great news - FS2 have a completely full boat!
Not so great news - FS1 have only 5 seats filled.
I have put in a weak time (7:39.9) today which is about as good as it was going to get given how I am feeling.
Please enter a time if you can FS1 folks.

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2022-23
Thought I’d get this month’s 10k out if the way early given that it’s the furthest I’ve rowed in a couple of years!
Quite controlled throughout but glad it was over by the end

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2022-23
Following another end-of-month scramble FS1 managed to float a boat with eight rowers completing the 2K. FS2 filled their entire score sheet
Many, many thanks to all who put in a time for the feared 2K. Just the 10K this month, so nothing to fret about there!
Mat and Kevin are leading the way.

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2022-23
Yippee moved up an age category after yesterdays birthday. It feels nice to be a youngster again.
So 10k time and inspired by Mats early effort set myself a target of sub 50 minutes that’s a long way for my present fitness on the Erg but it went well with a fastest time in 9 years.

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2022-23
I think my goal is obvious, aiming for 39:20. Possibly I might do better, but I don't know whether I'll have another go. My 60 minutes need an improvement as well so that will be my next goal this month I think.
Still some more seats need to be filled in both FS 1 and FS 2. But still plenty of time left, no need for nagging yet, Jon

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2022-23

Well, normally the IRL in March is where I set my SB. But with the health challenges at the moment I was just glad to finish to be honest. “Rule 1: never stop mid-piece” was applied multiple times.
At least it’s another seat filled.
Both boats have five seats filled at the moment. Ten days remain, so hopefully we will get there and complete our run of every boat being filled every month. Not that I'm nagging or anything

Another one for FS2. Long time since I have got as far as 10km. Hopefully the body is now behaving so can do more

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2022-23
Well done to all who have entered a time. FS2 has a full boat with eight out of nine rowers submitting a time. FS1 is a rower short of a full boat I'm afraid.
Next up is the final event of the season....500m. You know it makes sense

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2022-23
Miraculously I managed to finish. As the graph shows I didn't keep up the strength till the end hahah. HD was close but I saw the projected end time was still better then my SB so I struggled on until the end. Painful. Maybe later another one, starting a little bit slower.

I have a time in the bank for FS2, not added yet, but will try and better it before the end of the month

Captain Nag here, slightly later than normal. Right now FS1 has four seats filled in the 500m event and FS2 has..........erm, none! I'm sure we'll get there, after all it's just 500m.......right?

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2022-23
We’ll done to Fred, Colin and all others who have got this one ticked off
Of course it’s never just 500m
I’ve been putting this one off, but on a morning when I really didn’t feel like doing anything, I figured that an all out minute and a half couldn’t be too bad… could it?

Another seat taken in FS2. 3 second improvement from a benchmark 3 weeks ago. The last 150m were horrible!

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2022-23
With just the weekend remaining, we have a lot of empty seats in both boats. I will do mine today. Hopefully most people are leaving it until the last minute.
Well done to all who have put in a time. Mine won't be making a big contribution I'm afraid.

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2022-23
8 seats filled in FS2 now. Bizarrely, despite not rowing much recently, I was only .1 of a second off my best ever 500. That was will power and nothing else. I guess I get more stubborn as I get older
Just 2 seats needed to float FS1…
