Mud Season Madness

Post by JonT »

Reminder that the Mud Season Challenge starts on Tuesday 1st March. Good luck to all who are making an attempt. =D> =D> =D>

With an attempt to combine weights, cycling and rowing, and remembering to take rest days, this isn't one for me I'm afraid.

Having worked hard in Jan, and then not done a lot of rowing in Feb, I'm back on the wagon for March (although probably not at HM a day level)

There's also a one-off 5k on 8th for International Women's Day, the Erg Sprints 1k 9th to 13th, and then some Distance challenge later in the month too.

Thank you Jon. :)

Originally decided to take part again as ( in a masochistic sort of way ) I have always enjoyed this challenge. Things have moved on though and due to other plans, I would only have one rest day available. Even my brain could not ' browbeat ' my body into changing my mind on that one.

Good luck to all of you who have decided to give it a go. Tough stuff.👍 =D>

I've added this to the Meterboard icons. 21 Freespirits earned the badge and also the $5 donation from Concept2 =D>

Just finished the 10K version of the Mud Season Madness today. No time to rest though as they crammed 3 challenges into overlapping time periods!

Mud Season - Mar 1-31
World Erg - Mar 15 - Apr 15 (Team)
April Fools' - Apr 1-15

Completed mine (10k version) today. Can't say I enjoyed it much, but at least it is done...

Now that the event is closed I have put up the icons for this event on the Meterboard.

Huge congratulations to all that have managed to complete this event. ^O^ =D>
