Website and Forum Upgrade
Greetings from a misty and slightly damp Cornwall, where I am on holiday.
I will be upgrading the software (phpBB) that supports the website and forums over the next few days (timing is weather dependent). This is supposed to be a minor upgrade, but given it is the first I have done, there is a little more risk involved. [-o<
I will post again when the upgrade is complete. Please let me know if you see anything amiss.
Jon

The upgrade is complete and everything should be working again.

Re: Website and Forum Upgrade
Hi Jon - I keep seeing a spurious log in request pop up for "dev.freespiritsrowing.com" with a password request and login name. Any idea where this might have originated from?

Is there a pattern Plummy? Does this happen when you are doing something specific. That is a test environment, so a link to it must have carried over into the main website.
[EDIT #1 - I think I've found the problem. The links to the graphs in the Fall Challenge posts is pointing to the wrong place]
[EDIT #2 - I think this is fixed now Plummy. Tell me if you see it again]

Same thing happening again as reported in October - hitting "cancel" makes it go away but there's obviously something amiss

Plummy - is this happening when you are accessing the Virtual Team Challenge?
Is anyone else seeing this? If you are you will see a dialogue window appear asking for userid and password for no apparent reason.

Re: Website and Forum Upgrade
I've found the issue Plummy - My latest update on the Virtual Team Challenge was generated from the dev website and so had links within in which were also to the dev website. .
Thanks for letting me know. I can't manage the site unless people highlight any problems, so thanks.

Re: Website and Forum Upgrade
The website software is due another upgrade. Early warning that I may upgrade over the weekend. I will post a warning notice if I need to take the site and forums down at any point.
