Clue time:

1) recently was followed up as a series ;
2) majority New Zealand cast, and the director also helmed the last Thor film.

Given no takers, it was What We Do in the Shadows.

Plummy, I watched Chicken Run recently on BBC iPlayer. I think that your quote might be from that? Not sure though.

Another line:

Put your paws in the air.

There is one particular scene in the film where some people, myself included, had to dab their eyes with a tissue.

More clues:

1: A much loved ( by some of us anyway  ) fictional character is wrongly accused of a crime and sent to prison.

2: Marmalade.

Peter, if you look up Paddington Bear on Google all will be revealed.

I did check out certain details about the film before putting up my original post.

Here are a few of the main facts:

Distributed in the UK ( 2017 ) by Warner Bros, then worldwide ( United States 2018 ).

That might be from a couple of films but I'm going to have a stab at The Usual Suspects?

A) I believe I made my position to your boss quite clear.
B) You poured prune juice in his gas tank.
A) Oh yeah, that was good. Here, let me talk to him. You in the suit. Yes, you. Take a bath, hippy!

As a clue for starters...not a "real life" movie..

Thank you for the reminder Peter - I only ever look at "new posts" so tend to forget the ones I last posted on if no one else has after me.

Narrowing down the options massively with this clue - Pixar movie

Plummy, guessing here, as I haven't seen the film; is it Toy Story Three?

Not part of Toy Story. Think more of a Grumpy old man and his story after his wife dies..

From your clues, I'm guessing Up though I don't recall that line in particular. Now, if you'd said, "SQUIRREL!"...
