You are half right Paul - although it's not A Man For All Seasons, the film is based on a particular period during the reign of Henry VIII.

Who was the mother of Queen Elizabeth I?

Both Henry and the actor who portrayed him ( he was also known for his tempestuous love life ) in the film were of Welsh stock.

Thank you Plummy - one of the few films where I am reasonably familiar with the dialogue. I still enjoy re-reading the Alistair MacLean books.

I shut my eyes and ran my finger along a row of our DVDs and stopped on this one:

A: Did you want tea?
B: No, I don't want tea.
A: Right, because tea is weird in America.

Although we have this on DVD, I haven't seen the film and I did find it difficult to find a suitable second quote that didn't contain crude dialogue.
