Me too. Some great dialogue. Are you crazy? The fall will probably kill you!

Next one is from another classic.

It's from The Godfather.

"Well let me tell you something my kraut-mick friend.."

Have a go at:

"Well, I saw everyone else lining up, so, uh - I thought you were selling drugs."

Well done. I thought I might have to include the response as an extra clue. I know that line you've quoted but I just can't place it right now. About to go erging - maybe it'll come to me while I'm exercising.

The Commitments.
You definitely should know that Paul :-)
Saw the stage show last month, great stuff.

Blazing Saddles (a guess as I've not seen it in 30 years but think it's a Gene Wilder (gunslinger?) quote)

Defo Blazing Saddles Plummy.

I've seen The Commitments on stage as well and would recommend it.

The film has so many memorable lines in it.

"Never whisper the name of the Lord, my son.

Why? Is he deaf?"

Anyway, not my turn.

Not seen the remake but remember a critic quoting and liking the line...."what kind of sycophant would you like me to be?" - which I thought was a very clever line. I can't swear that this line is in the original!

The Commitments. #-o I knew I knew it. Love that movie. Just finished reading a rather insane sequel to the original book in which our hero Jimmy (the manager of The Commitments) hooks up with Imelda Quirke 20 years after the Commitments broke up, starts learning to play the trumpet and gets his son and his son's friends to pretend to be a Bulgarian rock band doing a cover version of a previously undiscovered song from the 1930s.

First clue - the original was animated (1960's) and the remake was live action (1990's)
