Re: The MOVEO 1000 km Project
Just a quick note for now as the post row hours have been highly traumatic including multiple stops on the road to the airport to "lose my lunch" and ultimately transiting both Frankfurt and Manchester airport in a wheelchair - since then I've been in bed and it will be a few days before I put a full report in.
That said, I would like to say a heartfelt thank you for all your comments and support over the last few hours of last night. I couldn't read them as they came in as I had to manage the rowing bit, Facebook and the spreadsheet whilst basically not knowing what planet I was on (one clue was after we finished I was CONVINCED we had moved to a new venue somewhere in the night and didn't actually know where I was!!)
Hope you enjoyed the run up to the finish and thanks for sticking with me to the somewhat delayed ending
Xxx

Re: The MOVEO 1000 km Project
Glad to hear you made it home safely. I figured the travel was going to be traumatic and I half expected a wheelchair to be needed at some point. I expect it was extremely difficult to get comfortable in your seat on the plane(s).plummy wrote:Just a quick note for now as the post row hours have been highly traumatic including multiple stops on the road to the airport to "lose my lunch" and ultimately transiting both Frankfurt and Manchester airport in a wheelchair - since then I've been in bed and it will be a few days before I put a full report in.

Many, many congratulations for keeping going and for finishing things off in Germany. I'm sure you're relieved not to have to even look at an erg for a few days (at least). What you achieved will stay with you for the rest of your life and I think you proved to yourself (and to all of us) how deep you are able to dig when the going gets tough.
And thanks for keeping us all entertained, enthralled and on the edge of our seats (if you'll pardon my use of that word) for the last few days. =D> =D> =D>
