Re: Name that tune
Thank you Paul.
I decided to pick the first tune that came up on my iPod shuffle ... Aldous Harding with Horizon. Scrap that one then.
After flitting around YouTube, this is a cover version of a song which I think is a far, far better rendition than the original.
You don't know, you don't know what it's like

Re: Name that tune
Paul, your first guess was correct. The cover version was by Keith Urban.
Over to you.

Re: Name that tune
Ron, Ann directed me to put up the next song. I told her I was thinking about this one, but it does not seem to have been on the UK charts. She said "so what, it is a great song!"
So, , here goes:
"Like a rhyme with no reason
In an unfinished song"

A bit more, just because it is nice!
"Like a rhyme with no reason
In an unfinished song
There was no harmony, life meant nothin' to me until you came along"

Re: Name that tune
No comment, other than it was You Decorated My Life by Kenny Rogers.
How about some seasonal lyrics from a song that was Number 1 just about everywhere (including South Africa!)?
"No giving thanks to all the Christmas joy you bring"

Re: Name that tune
Jill, a Happy Noel, a much better New Year, and any other holidays you would like to include, to you and Richard.
Stevie Wonder is correct; now the title?
I do not know why you just called me Father Christmas but I am going to say I would love to be able to give you 5lbs.

Re: Name that tune
Been rattling this round my head and can get several lines - but the only title I can come up with is: I just called to say I love you...?
