Hey Dave!

I feel like I should know this, but I'm drawing a blank. Is it one of those one-name artists like Prince or Cher? Is it Cher?

Cheers,

Not a one-name artist. The song was written by a globally recognised male vocal trio

Well, we're all over the place here at house Zoot. (Mrs Zoot says Hi by the way!)

Neither of us recognizes the words. By your clues Mrs Zoot's first guess was Madonna. For the "globally recognised male vocal trio" we first thought of The Kingston Trio (our tastes are pretty old), now we're thinking maybe the Bee Gees? So, Olivia Newton John? Didn't she sing with the Bee Gees sometimes?

Jill? Carole? Paul? Peter? Need some help here!

Cheers,

How about Barbara Streisand? No clue as to the ( possible ) song title though.

My next slightly cryptic clue was going to be "the clues are genuine, there's no BS" - but Jill has the artist nailed down (and aptly described by Carole). Just need a title now (there aren't that many to choose from to be honest) - this one topped the billboard Hot 100 for 3 weeks!

I thought some random guesses may have been worth a try here but no takers it seems...

The song was "Woman in Love".

Actually, I would have known that if I hadn’t been AWOL for a couple of weeks.

So I heard this song tonight and decided “why not”.

I’m in the corner, watching you kiss her, oh oh oh.
