That's right, Jill - played off Peter's Cher title with one by her younger version and her ex! Sorry for the delay. Been kind of busy for a retired guy.... :D

Thank you Ron and continue to keep carrying the flag for all us retired ‘ youngsters ‘. :) CBA days are only allowed occasionally. :fswink:

When Richard and I were talking about Whitby today, our favourite seaside place, this particular song came into my head.

‘ Remember me to one who lives there “

I had to look up "CBA" and, as I expected, it is a British expression. But don't worry, it was not too much trouble!

Now, back to "business", although I am not sure why I want the next turn. #-o

Parsley Sage Rosemary and Thyme.

(Does the actual title need commas?). True friends are wonderful to have!

Maybe. I considered that, but have not looked it up.

Ann says she thinks so.

Parsley Sage Rosemary and Thyme.
Peter, both Carole and Plummy are correct as the song title is Scarborough Fair. Carole is also correct about the album title.

Even though your answer may or may not have jogged Plummy's memory, in all fairness, he has come up with the goods. After all, you did say, " although I am not sure why I want the next turn ". Let's call it, saving you from yourself.

And lastly, kisses for Carole. xxxx

Okey-Dokey - this one doesn't appear in my thread search is is from one of my all-time favourite film soundtracks...

"And all the leaves on the trees are falling
To the sound of the breezes that blow"

It's a bit difficult to pull lines that aren't either too big a clue or are too obscure

Peter, your prayers have been answered. :) =D>

Over to you.

One of the disadvantages of cutting back on my on line time is that I have only just seen your birthday post for Ann. Very belated Birthday Wishes to you Ann and I am so glad that you had such a wonderful time and hope that this coming year will be a happy and healthy one. :)

This is not always true for me here, especially when the lyrics come from a song and artist I have never heard of. ](*,)

Hopefully, at least some of you have heard this one. (Jill thinks the praying smily worked last time; I will keep it in reserve for now!)

"Then you listen to the music
And you like to sing along
You want to get the meaning
Out of each and every song"

I am not giving up yet.

"Then the lights begin to flicker
And the sound is getting dim
The voice begins to falter
And the crowds are getting thin
But he never seems to notice
He's just got to find
Another place to play"

It reads as though it could be "Piano Man", but on the other hand I'm pretty sure it's not.
