Is it possible to have a handicap race on Rowpro?
I've had the software for ages but never used it as I'm too slow to compete.
However if the system was able to handicap races by say looking over the last 5 posted times of the competitors, that might be of interest.
Does anybody know?

Re: Handicapped?
HI Graham,
two points if I may;
1 - It does not matter how slow/quick you are. The vast majority of the sessions are open to all and there is always a wide spread of paces. Noone (well, maybe the old Jason & Huw
) "races" every session. There are even quite a few sessions put up by the ladies, which prove popular. Just join a few "half hour any power", or 20 minute sessions etc to try it out. I can't emphasise enough that pace does not matter.
2 - Yes you can have handicapped races. This is easier than it sounds, as the "slowest" start first, then the other participents go at staggered alloted times. The fastest (on paper) starts last and chases the others down. If the handicapping is close, most will finish at the same time.

Thanks Wolfie.
If the slowest starts first then on a 10k I'll be setting off on Monday and the rest of you on Wednesday!
