That's the spirit Bill! Now all Trish has to do is to stop you overdoing it... ( Good luck Trish!!! Perhaps time to bribe him with the biscuit packet? ) Seriously - take time to let yourself mend properly - be kind to yourself.

Rest and recover now Bill. Even reaching for the remote is too much effort at the moment so just shout Trish and she'll get it for you Plenty of fresh fruit and sleep and you'll soon be running the show again. All the best

Re: An Extra Limerick - With the Good News
I had a letter today from the Doc
I was expecting it and with it a shock.
Imagine my grin
When the story therein
Said my Cancer had taken the knock.
So it's "On On " with life as we knew it
When the muscles are healed I'll get to it.
I'll give it a go
To repeat my best row
Crack a mile in under six minutes
So - My pals in Free Spirits worldwide
Thanks for your support to help to tide
Me over this thing
With a positive spin
That's pulled me through this rough ride.

Great news in your Doc's welcome letter
And so now you'll be feeling much better
We're all glad you're fine
And in the fullness of time
Once more, Bill, you'll be a go-getter

It's November, but don't you all fret
In the wind and the cold and the wet
For BIRC's in the offing
So stop all that coughing
And prepare for some oxygen debt

December's the month of good cheer
There's lots to look forward to here:
Christmas parties, late nights,
Bacchanalian delights,
But pace yourselves for the New Year
