Rowpro FM on Dec 23 ???

Post by badocter »

Somebody please talk me out of doing this one.... I will be at home next week, could use the nonathlon points, my PB is a very soft 3:35 something and there are already 5 others registered... The question is how bad is this going to set back my Crash-B training.

Late edit -- have weighed the options and don't want to sacrifice the performance in Boston. If I am going to get in PB territory in 8 weeks all the weeks have to be quality training and I can't afford the two week setback. #-o :( Will still do an FM this season, but not before Crash-B.

read Plummy's post on his marathon then think ..do I really need to do one now ..then think this will affect my 2k training for at least 2 weeks then think there are 5 signed up so they don't need me anyway ......then against all your best judgment go ahead and do it
but you will regret it if you do

I'm vaguely tempted by this one. Never done a FM before so have little idea of what to expect.
I suspect that I won't be able to finish it due to sciatic pain but I'll think it over!

Sorry for stirring things up and then bailing, but I need every week between now and Boston to be quality training and can't afford a 2 week setback. Will still do an FM this season, but not before Crash-B.
