Jonny you only need 17m for first place-nice steady 1:44's should do it-all the best-you are rowing exceptionally well

Thanks Alan, but someone further down the leaderboard who hasn't done all the events is +120m. I'm hoping for 4700 which will be +28m for me. Some of the heavy hitters haven't posted a distance yet this month and I think the eventually winner will be v. close to 5000
I can see you've posted a nice distance yourself - is that it for the month or will you be having another go?

It was comfortable so I may have another go later on in the month.
It's quite a nice change, not quite 5k but you can go at 5k PB pace and see what happens.
My main focus for the next month is the World Rowing Challenge and getting an endurance base.
All this fast stuff is no good for old men

Next time then Thomas (& Jason? & others?) - probably going to do again same time(ish) next week
Improvement of 38m for me to 4710m. Pleased, BUT have now found that somebody has just posted a distance of 4808m
Nobody else was really going for it during the RP session but I declared before the start my aim of 4700m so I wasn't going to back off.
