Rowpro Hour of Power with Pete - May 17,14:45 GMT -COMPLETED
Frank Knight had set up a session because he needs the Nonathlon points. I need the points as well so I am in, target pace 2:00. [-o< Anybody else?

Sounds a bit slow for a man of your talent Bill, I think you can manage 1:57 ish now Good luck, looking forward to hearing about it.

Re: Rowpro Hour of Power with Pete TODAY 14:45 GMT
1:57-ish ... Thomas' Pace predictor says 2:00 (15003) based on my very recent 5k and 10k, but Pauls's law indicates 1:58.7 based on the 10k and 1:58.1 based on the 5k. So 2:00 is perhaps too soft a target...I'll aim for seeing nothing but 1:59 and 1:58 for the first 50 minutes and push the last 2500m with anything that is left.
Also noticed Pete just set up a 60' TODAY at 14:45 GMT, so will be doing that session now having already done an hour of weights today Hard enough now Stan? (what have I got myself into [-o< )

Sorry Bill - looks like you saw through my subtle attempt to make you blow up in order for me stay in front of you in the nonathlon for just a little longer. Seriously the main thing is to get that 15k so your strategy is sound and I am convinced you will succeed.
Based on my 5 and 10k pbs the predictor says 14793, but my pb for 1 hour is 14870 so you may be able to go a bit faster than you think

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Lost my broadband between 14:35 and 14:52 Thanks again BT Did the only thing I could do and took it out on the erg flying solo.
PB 15152m @ 1:58.8 SR 28. Pretty even pace thoughout with a little sprint at the end so still a little left in the tank. Looks like you were right about my original target being too soft Stan
Doesn't look like those morning weight sessions are slowing me down any in the afternoon/evening

Thanks guys.
Not saving the 2k for anything Dave, just haven't got around to it (and the prediction given by my 500m and 5k is 6:59.6). I do 3 hard sessions a week, and I have been making priority of CTC, Thomas's 1k's, and any session Pete signs up for since those tend to draw a lot of rowers increasing the possibilty that someone who is evenly matched with me will be there (those sessions tend to be 10k+ since he is presently building up for a HM test soon). Next weekend is looking promising.

Monster improvement Badocter - your signature currently said 14612 for the 60 mins so to get to 15152 is a massive leap
