We made the 100th this week.

This is the 100th Typhoon that was made.And i hope that there will be 100 more. :) This is what i do for a living.

Which bits do you specialise in Jason - I'd guess it will be parts that make it go fast!

Jason doesn't make them. He sits on an erg in the middle of the plane and supplies the power for the jet engines.

I moved to Preston after leaving the army just as they were closing the Strand Road site, putting 4000 people out of work. Sad to see they are cutting even more jobs.

However, my son got and completed an apprenticeship with BAe but wasn't happy going to the same place doing the same thing all the time and he now does contract work. He'll likely have a bit more competition for contract work soon. :(
If I'd known I was going to live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself.
