Got a WestCoastUS_60min row scheduled for February 2, 2011 at 01:30 GMT.
If I did this correctly, that should be:
Los Angeles (U.S.A. - California) Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 5:30 PM UTC-8 hours PST
UTC Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 01:30 GMT.
All paces welcome. I'll be targeting a pace of 2:14 to 2:16.
Hope to see you.

Huh... as I recall, poor Bill Murray got stuck repeating groundhog day till he got it right.
Despite the risk, I signed up.

We should be okay... seeing as how it'll actually be Groundhog Eve here on the West Coast.

Re: 60 mins for Groundhog Day
Great row Zoot.
The funny part was that at 33 minutes in, my ipod suddenly quit. This was OK because it was radiohead and they were making me want to float down the river in an inner tube with a beer, not row down it. But I wanted music so I yelled for my son to come fix it... teenager that he is... "eww mom, your ipod is all sweaty and ewww your arm is all sweaty... I can't do this when you're going back and forth like that" . You might have seen the crop of 2:30s right at that point... haha... it made for a nice plunge in my pace graph.
Anyhow I was super tired at the end but had a good time.
See you for the next adventure

I thought I was going to have to repeat the row until I got it right... I totally flubbed the start. I could almost reach the mouse from the erg, but each time I lunged for it I knocked it a little farther away. So I had to run over to the computer, press START, then run back to the erg, sit down and strap in... and then stupid instruction screen didn't minimize, so I had to stop rowing and run back to the computer.... When I finally got started again you all were 100m ahead. And in fiddling around with all this I dislodged the sticky note that covers the "power" light my computer speaker... and I had to row the entire hour with the Blue Orb of Submission boring into my skull.
