RowPro 6K Sat 14th 13:00 GMT**COMPLETED**
More PB attempts for Denis & myself (or as he calls it 'next weeks torture'), Denis is hoping for sub 23:00, my time will depend on whether I have another attempt at the C2C on Friday night, but I hope to PB.
All welcome, the more the merrier.

Re: RowPro 6K Sat 14th 13:00 GMT
I have just started the Pete Plan and Saturday calls for a hard 5k+ so 6k is just the job. Sub 24 min would be good for me. Please feel OK about trying a 10k hard warm up first both of you
see you Sat.

I'll be the scrawny one at the back trying to keep up! Just done my CTC attempt so knackered already (5:10.5)

I (sort of) really enjoyed that race. It was close enough with Den-J just a head for a while to drive me on when I would have preferred to slow down (we were trading +/-1m for quite a while).
When he started pulling away, I was trying to keep ahead of Kingy to give him a rabbit to chase. I was hoping to hold 1:55's as that is what Den said he was looking for and I know on Rowpro you go harder if there is someone pacing you or just ahead.
At 3k I figured holding 1:55 was a bit too much so eased back to ensure a finish. The last 2k was sheer belligerence and damned hard work.
Good race all round - thanks guys (Den, Kingy, Colin)

Def a big help m8 my hr was 168+ for the last 2k and I max out at 173 I just concentrated on trying to hold or slightly extend the gap ..managed to pull 1:52.X for the last 500 to get under 23 min but that was as fast as I can do 6k...at the moment
congrats to the others who also pb'd ..was a good row I strangely enjoyed it as well

Re: RowPro 6K Sat 14th 13:00 GMT**COMPLETED**
Great session guys with hind sight should/could have gone with kingy but I really wanted a PB and 1:55 was just to fast so I kept to my plan of just under 2:00 then go for the last 500m to beat my old PB by 28.4secs to 23:48.2 so very happy with that I have to say that was the easiest PB yet HR was capped at 161 till the last 150m then opened it up to the finish HR maxed out at 167 last time it was 173 so 28 sec faster and a 6 bpm slower rate good or what.Well done Kingy & Den on your PBs and well done Champion of the World Plummy. Oh well the Rugby is just about to start, bye
