Sorry guys. I am living in the house of the sick at the moment. Tamsin was out of it all weekend, Abigail was off school today, and I am definitely not 100%. I may row this evening but I think it unlikely and it certainly will not be full bore.

This is disappointing as I was looking forward to it, but 48 hours as a single parent meant that the only computer I got close to really was the Wii!

Soory you guys didn't make it. Me, Steve and Ernie were there, but I was already knackered before I got there....weights yestereday andhad just finished karate practice 30 minutes before... Yes the whole family started lessons again, so finally back in it after 15 years. Anyway, I tried to make a go anyway and was holding 1:40 pace for the first 500m or so and then the c-breeze came off instantly increasing my DF from 140 to 170....ouch after suffering that for 200m at pace I back off. Wolfie and ernie seemed to do alright though, both past 1200m

Then we tried to set up a 5k- for me I was just aiming for a cooldown. Looked like steve kept getting dropped trying to connect and then I botched the start  .....so we tried again...this time most of us got out of the gates but by 1k in everybody was gone except me....so I bailed. I'm tired and sore and I figure the 1k cd I got was sufficient. Don't get me wrong, had a good evening, just tired. Hope Steve found some bright side.

Hi Bill, shocking RP performance tonight, connection very flakey.
As you say, we turned up for Thomas & Dave and ended up a 3 ball.
Despite connectivity problems I managed 1218 which puts me top 5 for 40+ (I must keep reminding myself we are 8 days in before I get ideas above my station :D ) I wouldn't have liked to experience your c-breeze malfunction. I'd like to have seen it though
Couldn't get in to the 5k cool down, so paddled for 30 mins on my own.
Looking forward to the next attempt, maybe we should wait for Thomas to put it up :)
