Aren, Fred picked up your score so seems to be working. The issue was that at least on the old site you needed 2 user names to log under different categories (as otherwise previous results were changed) so both had to be picked up in Fred's sheet. I note that Plummy is still shown as Lightweight which is somewhat out of date.

I could leave the L and H away in the sheet, but overall there aren't that many fluctuations.
Should someone enter two scores in one ctc I'll only use the highest score. So, should you loose or gain weight or go into transition and enter twice that month there's some calculating to do I guess.

Final day. If anyone can help to float that next boat it would be great [-o<

Total Number of boats afloat in CTC this month is 153.
Total number of Free Spirit boats afloat this month is 6.
Position of highest boat is 24.
Total number of Free Spirit rowers this month is 34.
There are 1 heavyweight, 1 lightweight, and 2 female rowers still ashore.

Iain/fkoene, yes, not sure if we're talking at cross-purposes, but it is showing as correct on main CTC page/listing after I updated all of my details in various places, just not yet updated on the Free Spirits Google Sheet. December hasn't yet been computed (since obviously the month is still in progress), so it'll probably all update and be correct when results come through in coming days or next week etc.

I should probably get myself setup and put my entries on Nonathon, as that means I'll have some meaningful personal targets that actually reflect some consistent erg training so I have myself to chase in season 2025-2026 starting in April.

The season starts in May, so plenty of time remains to improve the 2024/5 times!

The year has come to an end, the scores of 2024 are final now. And the winner is: Ian ^O^ ^O^ ^O^ ^O^ ^O^
44 points ahead of Mat, due to missing the Valentine's challenge. Fir the rest they had exactly the same scores. They are quite a bit ahead of the rest.
There are a few 'heavy scorers' who joined later or missed some ctc's. Maybe things will change a bit in the top in 2025, should they enjoy it enough to keep on going.

The total number of participants is 57, more or less the same as the last years, that's definitely thanks to Peter who has put quite some effort in getting his OTW fellow rowers to join. Hoepfully they'll continue as well.

I leave it up to you all to check the sheet, and wish you all a very healthy, competitive (if you want) and happy 2025. Good luck and have fun.

Many thanks for managing this for us all Fred.

Looking at the second half of the year, I suspect I will be far further down the rankings next year.

Checking back on the number of CTC’s completed, I find that in 2012 I did 6, not 5, so that brings my overall total from 181 to 182.
Could you please make the adjustment, Fred ?
Thanks very much for all the painstaking work you do in keeping abreast of all the figures.
I shall soon be back on the erg after making a recovery from a pulled hamstring.

All the best

It has been adjusted. I see you've entered a January score already, so hopefully everything is good (enough) with your hamstring.
I hope to enter a score as well before the end of the month but I want to give my knee some rest. Tried it out today, still feel something so I cut it short.

Kind regards,

Fred

Good luck with the injury, Fred. Sounds like you did the right thing - let's hope the rowing gods smile on you and it's fixed soon...
Peter - well done on the recruitments - think you're managing club growth single handed!
Philip - congratulations on the 180+ CTCs, another great achievement (to add to your long list)

Thanks, Fred and Mike.

I had a second go at the 5k CTC this morning, improving by over 30 secs, and the hamstring feels OK.
Further attempts are planned in the earlier part of the day before it gets too hot!

Well then, the new 2025 sheet is in place and January's results have been entered. 41 rowers means the highest number of participants since 2017. Great, keep it up.
Two brand new starters, welcome Craig and Daniela. There's something wrong in the sheet with Daniela's entry I'm afraid, but I don't have time to fix it now. Going on the water in a couple of moments.
Anyway, good luck with the February sprint, AND: don't forget to row 1402 meters on February 14th. Have fun!!!

The Carole McNally Memorial scores have been entered. I did it on a smaller screen then normally, I hope I put everything in the right place.
The scores might change a bit because of a possible recalculation coming up, I'll let you know.
A great number of participants. Some small changes in the top, let's see how that workes out the next months.

Keep having fun rowing :fswink:

Quite a few fluctuations at the top this month. Sjoerd being a single #1 now. Nice going.
And yes, 41 participants again is great. Thanks to Peter. New this month Lea Schomacher. Welcome.

Have fun everyone. Go for it. Hopefully a lot of active rowers and floating boats.

Thanks Fred.
I was in the middle of a Costa Rica cloud forest on 14/2. and yes I did think about the memorial row I was missing :-)
Great to see the CTC so active again, well done Peter, and every one else making returns.
