Concept 2 Workout of the Day Challenge - 3rd to 9th September

Post by Mike Channin »

Take part in a week of different workouts in our new WOD Week Challenge! Concept2 releases a new Workout of the Day (WOD) every day. For this challenge, you just need to complete the WOD on at least five days of WOD Week. The WODs will not be announced in advance, and could be anything from short, sharp shocks to longer, more endurance-based pieces. We hope you’ll join us in this challenge.
We recommend using ErgData where possible to do the challenge. The WOD is available directly in ErgData and can be programmed on the monitor with a single tap.

Anyone up for this? Graham is tempted and would probably value some company...

There goes my goal of completing all the challenges. I'm most probably away September 7th to September 11th so can at most get four WODs in ](*,) .

I feel your pain there. It is sooo frustrating when the real-world aligns to prevent completion due to the arbitrary boundaries of the Challenges. I'm going to miss 3rd and 4th, so may just about manage this one, but it may just not be possible..

I might be able to do it, but the emphasis is on the might! First one today and I will definitely not be doing them all hard (if I can fit them in with other training)

I might be able to do it as well! I‘ll go on vacation on Friday. If I can squeeze in a WOD in the morning (and do one every day before) I can get 5 :D . I have two so far.

Good luck and hope you can squeeze in the session before vacation (hope it is not a long WOD that day!)

It's interesting to note that the recently concluded WOD Week challenge was almost as difficult to complete for FS team members as a Full Marathon; WOD week - 9, FM - 6.

For me it was bad timing, meaning that I couldn't get the number of days in. I don't think it was really as hard as completing a FM (not for me, anyway).

Lack of Ergdata killed this for me! As a large number of our active members have been erging for a while, I suspect that quite a few haven't adopted the tech and are still using PM3s!
