London and York gyms

Post by Tina Gallasch »

Hi everyone: Wayne & I are visiting UK in September and will be in York from 16th September to 20th September, and in London (Paddington) from 26th September to 1st October. Does anyone know of a small gym - with a couple of rowers - that we can use to train while we are there? We don't want anything fancy, and certainly don't want a personal trainer. We just want to keep our fitness and metres up while on the road. Now we've finally got our rowing mojo back, we don't want to lose it. Thanks in advance. Cheers, Tina

Tina, it’s worth looking at the Pure Gym chain. All of the ones I have used have C2 machines. There are a lot of gyms in the chain. They offer monthly membership.

I just checked and they have a branch in York and also one in Marylebone which is very close to Paddington. I'm not on commission by the way
