No matter what the distance and ignoring the physical side of things, it's good for the mental health to just be moving.

Hi Carole, after all the traumatic experiences that you have been through over the last few months, it's very uplifting to see you back on the erg. If it all seems very daunting at the moment, then keep telling yourself that ' A journey of a thousand miles, starts with the first step '. :)

Seriously, well done for getting back on, a major milestone to your recovery. You have all of FS cheering you on :fsbgrin: .

Making some steady progress postoperatively so managed a nice slow but steady 1500 m row
Just booked a week family trip for April next yr for Ps 70th birthday to Center Parc Zandvoort on the NL coast and trips around the area so fitness needs to gear up now
Weight still yo yoing but keep on trying

Glad to hear hat things are moving in the right direction Carole. Great idea to give yourself the incentive and am sure that you will take things slowly in the 12 months you have before then.

Managed my first 2k in many a moon, still steady as a galleon but it was OK, accompanied by Viking Skald music lol
