This thread is awesome! Until now, I thought Flat Stanley (on the other thread) was a nickname for a former Free Spirit you were all reminiscing about. I guess, in a way, he was! :)

If Flat Stanley ever wants to tour southern Germany, I have a padded envelope he can sleep in.

If flat Stanley can be found and given a bed to travel in - he could go to the Australian Nationals (29th October) and visit the rowing club :)

Or perhaps son of Stanley could be born :)

OK let's give it another eight years 😬(last sighting) to see if he shows up or someone knows of his whereabouts (Kirbyt)🙂. Love the comment about the jiffy bag by the way.

As a new to the club person, this thread was always one I found super great - just a creative way for Free Spirits around the world to bond.

Flat Stanley has lived in my house here in WI since a while. He has gone missing a couple of times, but has resurfaced occasionally. He is doing well, no major health scares. Once I locate him again, I’ll post and send him off to new adventures.

I am happy to have FS again. I am no longer in New Zealand and home in my UK village. It would be great to post FS with a pic of my two grand daughters who featured in the last visit. I am afraid the sheep have gone via the Bbq grill before we left NZ. 🙄
