Give that girl some calorie free, chocolate money.
Carole, once you have wiped all the ' chocolate ' from your fingers, it will be over to you.

Peter, I am surprised that you didn't know this one because quite a while back, when I put up Ricky Don't Lose That Number, you knew it straight away.
One of the first albums I bought. The things you think are useless I can’t understand.
Thank you Carole. Too many mentions of your " misspent youth "... but not enough detail.
Peter, been there, done that.
Paul, I have one of their albums too and it's safely packed away in the loft. I cannot remember the title though.
Peter, not only is the song title correct but also the spelling. Over to you.
Thanks PeterPeter_S wrote: ↑Sat Nov 26, 2022 4:38 pm Paul, I am feeling good that you named that tune!
When we heard the Michael Bublé version last week, Ann said "they will be surprised that you know modern songs". Well, the Bublé was from 2005, which for me qualifies as ultra-modern. However, the song was actually written in 1964 for the show The Roar of the Greasepaint – The Smell of the Crowd. The Nina Simone version dates from 1965, but not released as a single until 1994 in the UK. (Thank you Wikipedia.)
Indeed it is - best guitar piece ever imo.Wolfmiester wrote: ↑Tue Nov 29, 2022 9:32 am That's the wonderful "Parisian Walkways".

Totally agree. I would have got it from the second line, but was too late. I think I know your one, but can't quite place it (yet).Wolfmiester wrote: ↑Tue Nov 29, 2022 9:32 am That's the wonderful "Parisian Walkways".

What keeps coming to mind is Pearl's a Singer by Elkie Brooks, but I know that's not it. But I think the "feel" of your song is similar.Wolfmiester wrote: ↑Thu Dec 01, 2022 10:48 am Another line…
