Fall Team Challenge

Post by JonT »

The Fall Team Challenge starts on the 15th and runs for a month. I will set up the usual tracker and put a link here when it is up and running. I normally get that done after a few days of the challenge running.

Good luck all,

For those who are not familiar with this challenge and are wondering how to join, go to the "teams" tab in your C2 logbook, then to "fall team challenge" on the bottom right, klick "join team challenge":

Reminder - the challenge started today and runs for a month. We finished 7th last year with 14.5 million meters. Good luck all of you meter munchers. Remember to join the challenge for your meters to count towards the team total.

The Challenge Analyser is now up and running -> https://www.freespiritsrowing.com/chall ... enge_teams.

We have got off to a fairly slow start, but that is usually the case, with some rowers entering catch-up meters intermittently. The Diamonds have got off to an astonishing start with 7 million meters rowed already. Having said that they also have a team size of 676

The Meterboard icon is also active. As you can see, there are a number of our meter-munchers who have not registered yet.

Jon - just curious - did you write the Analyzer that displays all that data? Regardless, it's pretty cool.

Ron, yes I wrote it and the Nonathlon and MetaNonathlon tools a couple of years back when I took over managing things from TWP. It was my way of learning the programming language that the majority of our website is written in.
