Not a real spoiler here Jon, but the last few day's racing has got to be the best I've seen, and I have watched every tour since 1985.

Colin, the only chance Thomas has of winning is to develop a quick case of asthma , his team's golden ticket

Hi Paul good to hear from you, yes wonderful stage yesterday the tv coverage is so good now and I fully agree best racing for decades almost as good as the Merckx era.

Hi Paul, good now thanks I'm actually enjoying the erg again but it's taken a long time to get recovered. How are you? I understand you had a CA, scary times but thankfully we carry on as best we can.
Enjoy the rest of the tour matey.

30 min this morning before it got to hot, target was to row it non stop and keep it very steady around 2:35 finished with 5902m 2:32.4 not quite the colour Celeste but that will come when I'm ready to hit it hard. Question is can I do a 10k non stop at the same split? Guess there's only one way to find out.

Hi Colin - I'm good thanks - I did have a CA but I have had an ICD inserted and pretty much made a full recovery - I am able to do everything that I could do before, albeit a lot slower   - I'm going to ascribe part of the deterioration to aging though.

Glad to hear that Paul, onwards and upwards looking forward to see if I can close the gap between us a bit. Well this morning went for the 10K at a very steady zone 2 (Coggan) capped HR. Finished just under the hour so guess I now need to go again for the full hour at zone 2 power ie 77 average watts?

That is sad, however, I always asked myself who you are and if your favourite movie is "free willy", anyway, I wish you all the best!

Good morning everybody, well it was untill I'd just finished my hour of not much power using erg data, sadly the iPhone screen failed to upload or at least the little circular thingy that denotes an up or down load failed to stop revolving so giving up after a few minutes I'm now without an entry in the c2 log. Can anyone please suggest how to get the pm5 recording of the row to transfer to my phone or at least to the C2 online log. The result was 11110m capped at zone 2 HR

You can plug a USB stick into the PM5 and copy a workout to it from the PM5 menus, Colin. Then plug it into a PC and synch the USB log with C2 log using the Concept2 Utility app - https://www.concept2.com/service/softwa ... t2-utility

Another alternative would be to enter it manually in your log book (Add workout on the first page after login) As you did a ranking piece (60min) you can also use the verification code:

OK thanks for the quick reply guys, old school then, I was sort of hoping to do it wirelessly from somewhere deep in the menu. Now where's that USB stick that I haven't used in decades.
