A big downside of automating the Meta-Nonathlon is that there is a forum post which gets regularly updated for people to see how things are going and who is having a strong season. Here are the latest standings with a month remaining.

57 years old, 5"10', clinging on to 75kg and frustratingly but understandably inconsistent

Latest MetaNonathlon scores as we approach the end of the season. Well done to all who scored higher than 900, meaning an overall improvement from last season.

Yeah! One of my goals this season was to top the meta-nonathlon. I realized I had the unfair advantage of changing to lightweight while still getting newbie gains and decided this was my meta-nonathlon year.
I just hope I haven’t jinxed it by posting this before the end of the season

Well done Allen! A 40 point lead in MetaNonathlon is huge, so I’m sure you are safe with one day remaining (and Chris has Covid )
Of course next year will be a tough one now. What’s your new target? Anything above 900 points would be a result.

New targets:
1. Staying lwt. This is getting harder and harder. I think I have been slowly gaining muscle mass since I started concentrating on stoke power for my SS rows.
2. A dark green on the FM. I plan to give it a try tomorrow. I think it will be dependent on achieving #1 though.
3. More Meter Board icons than this year. I love the icons. They are a great incentive!

The last hour was pure torture, but I think I did it. The only reason I didn’t HD was I posted here. My butt is not speaking to me so I won’t try this again before next May…

Re: Meta-Nonathlon 2021-22
Yes I saw this on the Meterboard Allen, well done. Let's hope it is Dark Green when the 2022-23 Nonathlon starts.
I know what you mean about a sore behind. I did a HM last week before the season ended. I don't normally struggle with a sore butt, but this time I was in complete agony for 24 hours. I have no idea what I was doing differently. It may just be down to a lack of long distances over the last few months.

Ha! Top of the meter board with a projected season of 15.4M. I’m also top of my age group in the c2 rankings (out of 1).
Time to celebrate!
