Happy hols Spider!

Thought I'd have a 500m plan week into the mix, and started off very very gently!

Still good metre munching Spider Image

Circling back to week 1 of my 10k week so I can have some logic to the routine....

Didn't increase my pace guide and forgot my HR connection, but this felt a little easier than last time through.

Return to the third session of 10k week 3. Every time I run through this I end up playing mind games: the first 5 or 6 splits need to feel very comfortable to avoid utter despair as I reach the pointy end....

Today, legs felt heavy but I can see improvement on the previous attempt - but lower HR and the HD demons were entirely in control. Though this target pace should be easy enough.....

Slowly getting back after Covid. I have been doing very steady r20 sessions over the last two weeks, building up from 4K to 8k with plenty of rest intervals.

Today was my first foray over r20. Nothing special but nice to be able to push a little and then settle into UT2 for the last 2k.

The goal is to build up to manage to complete CTC by the end of the month.

This also took me to 1 million for the season which is satisfying given viruses and injuries.
