Wow, that's some score, well done Claudius! You are the fastest lightweight and the fastest FS (by far) on the table!

Great row Claudius, and there really is not too much slippage in that positive split either

Not been on the machine much lately and focused on run training, so quite happy with this considering

Nice one Chris
I had another shot at this one, having procrastinated for a few days confident that I could go sub 1:48, but not relishing the prospect of doing so
Happy with the result

Some amazing results there - well done all. And quite a range of ratings too, from Claudius at 35 to Mat down at 25. Mine seemed to work at 28-29.
I also managed to hit a recent high for HR on my final set, reaching 183 by the end.
Great to see you back on such impressive form again, Mat!

Great late results Chris, Mat and Mike!
Indeed your stroke rate is awesome low Mat

- And yes, thank you, ...someone didn't slow down and let its tiny Nikey thing fly around me - you don't need to win a World Cup for that

This is how I attacked it as a paced training peace with different rates.
The 30min for March will have to be an easy one, but there are 4 weeks left to do it.

Nice on, also slow but powerfull stroke rates !
The 30min are not on my Re-Do List for TT, so i guess it will be a relaxed go for me too !

Re: February ctc - 3 x 1 mile / 3’r
Nice session Tako
When I first started rowing I was rating well into the 30's, before changing and re-learning a longer stroke technique which brought the rate down to around 26-28 for most sessions. That's the kind of rating I was using "back in the day" when my PBs were set
In recent years, when time on the erg was limited to periods when recovering from running injuries, I'd settled to the 24-26 rating which is obviously where I am now. Now that I'll be rowing regularly (2/3 times pw) for the foreseeable future, it'll be interesting to see if this increases a little as my pace (hopefully) improves
I do seem to settle to 24/25 for most pieces, increasing a little when the intensity increases.Mike Channin wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 7:02 pm And quite a range of ratings too, from Claudius at 35 to Mat down at 25. Mine seemed to work at 28-29.
