Many thanks. Yes, Carole will beat me to it, but not sure whether I will scrape in ahead of Wolfie.

Re: Lifetime Millionaires Club
Today notched up a significant milestone for me. I thought it was going to happen at 33 million (for some reason) and every million since and especially the big 4-0 but I've decided that from the latest landmark of 41 million (hit about 30 minutes ago) I'm tired of being tired all the time so I'm dropping one of my weekend sessions therefore my weekly metreage is going to drop off a bit from now on. It's odd as I feel I'm "shirking" and being lazy and to a degree even letting the team down should there be a challenge like the up-coming Fall Team Challenge.
For now I'll dig into my bag of stars and award myself a gold one..

Re: Lifetime Millionaires Club
Well done Plummy. I'm sure many of us know the situation where we are doggedly carrying on with something because we will we have to, when in reality we don't have to at all and would be far happier if we changed our habits and patterns. I did the same with rugby refereeing this year. I was forcing myself to keep going through a sense of responsibility and debt to others, but I was not enjoying myself and know now (I think) that stopping was the right decision.plummy wrote: ↑Sun Aug 29, 2021 11:01 am Today notched up a significant milestone for me. One thing is for sure, after all of your contributions, nobody could ever accuse you of shirking or letting the team down.
Stay well, and hopefully you may find some more enjoyment in rowing, which I know has been missing for a while.

I never expected to get the first star, let alone a second. It was a big enough milestone for me to want to ask for a gold one please Plummy.

Re: Lifetime Millionaires Club
Gold star awarded as requested. Shame after all that effort that you didn't bump up a couple of places. The next million might help you do that..
Well done anyway, great work.

Re: Lifetime Millionaires Club
Wow, lots of metres in this thread...with a sense of awe I see numbers >20k here, today I want to join the club if the buddy on the rowing machine, well I guess that's me, is allowed to join. So I ask with a polite: Excuse me...please accept me into your club. Because I like crazy numbers. It's 11111111m. Cheers Claudius B.
