All should be well now. I have a slightly odd error message on the administration dashboard which I will look into. But please shout if you see anything out of the ordinary.

Daily progress and flags do not show on chrome or safari, and the “update now” vanished as well. I’ll look later again.

The "update now" button is back, but the meterboard is completely empty

Eek. That's not good. I am really busy for the next couple of days, but will try to get to the bottom of what has happened.

EDIT - This is now working again, but I can take no credit. I was having a "coffee break poke around" which is a well known software engineering approach, and the Meterboard just jumped back into life, which is a well known software phenomenon

It is a bit of a concern though. The Meterboard database hadn't been updated since midday yesterday for some reason.

I did notice that something was amiss as my metres from last night wouldn't show but then appeared as if I'd rowed them today.

43Mm metres rowed. Re-setting the bar much lower now. Getting too old for this malarky

I noticed the same but now it seems to be normal again. The "update now" button is still missing though.

There is no Update Now button on Meterboard 3. That was (and still is) on Meterboard 2 but was removed when Thomas did the upgrade to the latest version.

That explains the absence  Thanks for fixing it :fswink:

Edit: the phenmenon Dave witnessed seems to be back again (yes, I‘ve refreshed the browser several times).

The season total is still correct so only a minor problem in my opinion.

This will happen if the Meterboard has been "offline" for some reason. Basically, the meters are added to the day when the Meterboard sees them, not the day when they were rowed. This is why you see large totals in the column when people row for a week and then submit to the C2 log - the individual rows will be in the log, but the Meterboard just puts them all in the day that it discovers them. So, while the Meterboard was snoozing yesterday it will not have seen your rows, it then picks them up and totals them all in today's column. I suspect this can be changed, but if it were easy I'm also sure Thomas would have done something to change this. Put another way, this is working as designed. :D
