Well spotted, it would be a new British record! I've emailed Concept2 and asked them to verify or remove it. I'm sure I've read that, in general, they don't like making changes to the rankings but as this would be a record hopefully they will. They also change / validate for race results.

Anyone had any PBs recently?

Post by Tako »

Again inspired by others’ great results and the urge to get another green in the meta-Nonathlon I went for the 500m, which also fit with the recent C2CTC sprints. As it turned out I was lucky to improve my PB by 0.1sec. Being high on this result I also managed to improve the 100m as well by 3 tenths :-)

Indeed, that's a fine 500. I've never cracked 1:30.

It is not likely that I ever will beat my PB’s ! I’m 10 years older now, since I did them all in 2008-09.

Well done Tako ^O^ ^O^ ^O^. I would love to go sub 1:30 one day!

Mikkel, It is maybe not just the 10 years that make it hard; your PBs are also fantastically good!

Mikkel, you are still very fast!

I managed a new PB in the 60' today, improving from 15652 to 15817. I think I could go a bit faster too.

Thanks for all the feedback!

Colin, you might be struggling with sub 1:30 but your longer distances are far out of my reach

Warning ** very excited ** At last, a sub 2:00 500m bettering the 2:00.0 I did last time out at this distance. Pretty darn happy with that since not much rowing 3 of 4 weeks before that and a long way from 2:40 in May this year. Thanks to rowing coach standing behind me saying when to hold back and when to go.

Onwards and downwards
