The 2018/2019 season is done. Big congratulations to Jon Taylor for topping this season's league! ^O^
The first 10 on the list deserve recognition for reaching a score of 900+ indicating an overall improvement over last season! =D>

Thanks for all your efforts in producing the tables Rodger. I love this chart (maybe not at the end of next year though).
Can you rattle one off for the last 3~4 years with overall totals? I seem to remember you've done them before.

Need a bit of ego boosting, plummy?
Here you go (I was making it at the same time you were requesting).
It shows the scores per season since the meta-nonathlon started and a sum score.
I have restricted the list to the 22 participants of the 2018/2019 season.

Hi, can I join in next year, and if so, what will it mean not having any scores to compare against?
I was once competitive, but fell off the erg a bit for a few years. However I'm back on it now.

If you did row (some of) the pieces last year, but haven't registered them on the nonathlon website: you can still do that (the 18/19 season is still open to edit). So then, yes, you can join the meta-nonathlon this new season.
If you didn't row those pieces in the 18/19 season, then there is is nothing to compare your new scores with. So then, no, that's the point of the meta-nontahtlon: comparing your scores with last season.

It's all in the first post of this thread, by the way.

As an administrative notice: when the nonathlon site will renew to start the 19/20 season, it can take a while before I set up the new meta-nonathlon.
For efficiency reasons I tend to wait until a decent number of Free Spirits have registered for the new season and are included in the FS filter list.

Hi Rodger - how close are we to setting the 2019/20 Meta-Nonathlon in motion?

Only guessing, but I guess that it pops up as soon as Stan has added Roger to the team for this season ;-)

More likely, when I'm done working and my summer holiday starts. Mid July.

Ive added him now. Rodger contacted me to discuss setting up a metanonathlon squad on the nonathlon site which he will run. Given my reduced activity this is an excellent idea and I hope all who enjoy the metanonathlon will take part. Work has been ridiculously busy and sapping my desire to row, so I need to snap out of this lethargy.

To (hopefully) avoid any confusion, this will be a second filter list on the nonathlon website. One for Free Spirits that want to take part in the meta-nonathlon (and are eligible to do so). This list will most likely be shorter than the first, normal filter list. If you want to appear on the normal Free Spirits nonathlon list, you would still need to ask Stan to add you.
