My heart and lungs are fit enough to be faster I think, but muscles spent from a week of season's bests.

Cheers,
Colin

I can't say I knew Anne well but I met her on a couple of occasions so it was good to be able to remember her this way.

I was due a 60R20 this lunchtime anyway so I thought I'd get into the low rate groove with a R19 attempt. Fairly happy with my rate control but pace is still too variable stroke to stroke I think. Some great efforts here. I especially noticed my gossamer compadre's times - well done all lwts & especially Claudius: Sub 10 !

Congratulations to boat FS I as it is the fastest boat overall and by quite some margin:

Paul, you might want to reconsider your entry. I know you're fast, but more than three minutes faster than Olli Zeidler (his 2k PB is around 5:38), I don't know... :D

Seems like there's a preemptive change of challenge on the website, so there may be some gremlins on the prowl.

A mere 3 free spirits short to get 6 boats afloat. Well done everyone ^O^

Just in case anyone would like a nice evening row to end the month. 9:54.0 @1:46.0 pace. Now for a 30m cool down.

Edit. The plan was a quick start, settle into 1:47 pace and see what was left at the end. It turned out pretty well and whilst it was hard I was surprised to see my HR peak at 170, which is only 2 bpm below my maximum.
