Thanks Dave and Peter!

If I would have gone for a 2:12ish pace I probably would have HDed somewhere in the middle :-)
Well, I have hopefully many years left where I could improve my time, but not sure I will feel the desire though :-)

Have not done anything recently so thought I'd get back into it with an 8k rate ladder

5x2k rate ladder. Probably started too slowly as I had WAY too much energy left in the final rep Image

Felton, That last 2k is impressive, and quite a bit faster than your SB?

Hello,

the Nonathlon motivates me to do another ranking piece: today 6k unrestricted all-out-effort, hit hfmax 180/min in the final sprint  ...a pb

Thanks Tako and Max !,

and the next ranking piece which had to be optimized: 500m
The attachment 500m.JPG is no longer available
and tried this...but HDing...cant belief that one 500m piece could be that exhausting !

but in the evening did a regenration row...as usual with "number-gaming" - a bit ocd style ;-) also congrats to Felton on his ocd- game !

This is the 5th time in September that I've tried to beat my best 30r20 distance which was set in May. Improvement of 23m to 7,874m @1:54.3 :D

Thought I'd have a crack at the 30r20 today, not a session I've done too many times. Probably started a little too enthusiastically but settled into a decent rhythm after I realised that 8k was out of the question Image SB.

Just did 27k in 1:54:08 - pretty pleased with that. Feeling a bit more confident that i'll complete the 50k in under 3:50 now :) However, aim number one is to finish it!
F - 52, 5' 3", 9st 9lbs - good things come in small packages!

I'm not surprised that's fantastic =D> =D> =D> . To help my Meta-nonathlon score I need to do a HM @1.56 but I've been putting it off. Might not get a chance this month but you've inspired me to try soon. Given your fantastic form you should try some of the longer ranking distances so you can rank them .
