This one came a little out of left field. Didn't think my 10k was particularly soft, but felt pretty energised this morning and managed to knock off a barely credulous 25 seconds....

Respect! That's a massive improvement =D> =D> =D>. Do you have the HR graph and what app do you use to get it. Thanks.

Thanks both.

A rather ragged trace from my polar watch - I'll check on the precise model if you're interested.

I thought my days of PBs were over, but happily managed 285m. for this month’s IRL 1 minute challenge.
This was an improvement of 6 metres.

Not as impressive as Philip but yesterday's IRL1 minute was a PB. 340m an improvement of 5m. That got me wondering if I had achieved at least one PB each month this season. Looking back through my rowing log shows the run started back in March 2018! A very nice benefit of being a 2nd year rower although it does put a bit of pressure on for next month to make it a full year!!!

Jan19 - 1min = 340m @1:28.2
Dec18 - 30min = 8,111 @1:50.9
Nov18 - 2k = 6:50.3 @1:42.6
Oct18 - 4min = 1,181 @1:41.6
Sep18 - 60min = 15,550 @1:55.7
Aug18 - 60min = 15,361 @1:57.1
Jul18 - 60min = 15,301 @1:57.6
Jun18 - 10k = 37:09.2 @1:51.4, also 6k = 21:45.8 @1:48.5
May18 - 5k = 17:57.5 @1:47.7
Apr18 - 500m = 1:34.1 @1:34.1
Mar18 - 1k = 3:19.8 @ 1:39.8

Edit. Added 6k in Jun18

Good effort Max

Perhaps the 6k or a bit more off the 2k for February?

Well done Max! ImageImage

Looks like you should have a go at the 500m, because from a quick look it is the only one where I beat you ;-)

PBs are great, the Meta-Nonathlon helps me to keep track of them, as all last season entries were PBs a green means a new one this season. Still missing 3 (30min, 10km, HM)...

Being in my third season I can tell you that is does not get easier Image

Don't worry Tako, between 100m and 2k you win comfortably! But 500m is my lowest Nonathlon score so top choice for this month .

Good spot re 6k and I've added Jun18 's PB to the list. As for the 2k, that reminds me of a great day at the Scottish Championships but I'd need weeks to recover   .

I'm feeling rather chuffed - had three PBs over the last two weekends; 10k in 40:22 (getting closer to breaking 40), 16.1k in 1:09:55 ad HM in 1:30:50.

Having stopped rowing last May, I decided in December to have a bash at the 50k on 4th May (for the NSPCC - https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Team/Reward) - I can only think that the total break and a renewed enthusiasm has been the reason for these - for me - much improved times

Great Lily, I hope the results help you to keep on going after the 4th of May, but well, I can imagine you want some rest after that...
