Not a pretty sight

Post by Pepe »

Unfortunately, I’ve been knocked back by an attack of shingles which, amongst other things, has affected vision in my left eye.
However, looking on the bright side (through my right eye of course  ) I had earlier put down markers for our CTC and for
Team Philip in this month’s IRL 1 mile.

I’ll be back...but don’t yet know when.

Sorry to hear that Philip, shingles is thoroughly unpleasant I believe so best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I'm sure the rest of the team will make a special effort to cheer you up ;-)

Best wishes Philip.
I'd say don't do too much too soon, but you are far too experienced to fall in to that trap :-)

Philip, I am sorry to hear that you are having to cope with the discomfort of shingles.

With reference to Claudius’s comments, my friend, Patricia, developed shingles about three years ago. She was diagnosed very quickly and then immediately prescribed medication that certainly helped to alleviate the symptoms.

Best wishes towards a good recovery.
