You are half right Paul - although it's not A Man For All Seasons, the film is based on a particular period during the reign of Henry VIII.

Right idea, wrong film and no, it's not The Six Wives of Henry VIII.

Who was the mother of Queen Elizabeth I?

Both Henry and the actor who portrayed him ( he was also known for his tempestuous love life ) in the film were of Welsh stock.

PS - Plummy is there any chance of you replying to my query on the NTT thread? :)

Last clue:

The film tells of the relationship between Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. The film title is based on the approximate length of their marriage.

This looks like another dud - it was Anne of The Thousand Days. As I have never believed in third time lucky, I'll stand down again and let someone else take a turn.

Plummy, you were nearest with your " Carry On Don't Lose Your Head " comment, so it's over to you.

I'll start with a clue - late 60's:

a) Lieutenant, in the next 15 minutes we have to create enough confusion to get out of here alive.

b) Major, right now you got me about as confused as I ever hope to be.

Crikey! Another one that I know, even without the clue. I'm going to leave it for a little while though, to give others a chance of coming up with the right answer.

Thank you Plummy - one of the few films where I am reasonably familiar with the dialogue. I still enjoy re-reading the Alistair MacLean books.

I shut my eyes and ran my finger along a row of our DVDs and stopped on this one:

A: Did you want tea?
B: No, I don't want tea.
A: Right, because tea is weird in America.

More clues:

I pulled you out of the spaceship myself. I kept you warm and comfortable and sat there next to you, until the men came to take you away.

Although we have this on DVD, I haven't seen the film and I did find it difficult to find a suitable second quote that didn't contain crude dialogue.

Mid 60's - all star cast:

A) When we get back to the palace, you must trim your moustache. You must look exactly like the prince. Can you laugh?

B) What do you mean, can I laugh?

A) Well, the prince has a very individual laugh.

B) Like what?

A) Uh... ah ha HA ha ha.

A) (demonstrating a second time) Ah ha HA ha ha.

B) HA HA HA HA HA.

A) No, that's too much bass. The prince is more of a soprano.

Ooops - forgot all about this. OK, let's jump to big clues:

1965 film with Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon amongst the star cast.

OK - let's kill this one off. It was The Great Race - and all star comedy. Admittedly I haven't seen it for years so I'm not even sure I would have got it from the text.

So - bringing us right back to present day, how about this:

"Nobody ever made a difference by being like everyone else"
