I have created a poll on the forum so people can vote and we can easily track the results. I don't have a way of fixing it to the top of the threads I'm afraid.

Two things regarding the Gillian challenge ...
1 - too make it slightly more challenging, should we swap the 400 and 200 around (mute point really)
2 - perhaps we can broadcast message everyone registered as a Free Spirit and prompt them its our choice and hope that they can participate in one of our alumna's (sp?) honor?

I agree that the current ordering looks a bit screwy. We could go long-short-long-short with the distances. So: 1934m, 200m, 2206m, 400m maybe?

- It's moot point not mute point.
- And you are correct, it's alumna when you are talking about a singular female....I didn't know there was a male and female form

Hmm, I rather liked the original 2 x c2k then empty the tanks for the 400m then have to do it again for the final 200m. It's the way the speed builds massively over the last 2 intervals which appeals. Or at least should build

I agree with Max, although 2 min rest after long intervals wil be challenging!
55 year old Lwt (in ability and in weight) trying to develop a technique that doesn't cause hysterics and continue to row regularly.

That is a good idea...perhaps with invitation banner on the meterboard site or direct on the main-site ?Wolfmiester wrote: ↑Wed Aug 29, 2018 9:34 am 2 - perhaps we can broadcast message everyone registered as a Free Spirit and prompt them its our choice and hope that they can participate in one of our alumna's (sp?) honor?
