Re: Millionaires club-Season
I had a look at last year's final meter board to see if I missed any new millionaires. Congratulations to Attila Kárpáti who logged almost 300k to reach 2,000,000 meters for the season and to Peggy Hubbard who reached 1,000,000 meters for the season.

Re: Millionaires club-Season
Thank you Tako and Plummy.
First thing to do is to bring the thread up to date, before Dwayne, a tiny speck away in the distance, accomplishes his second Million Metres for the season.
Apart from Dwayne, ( he has the ) we now have three more Free Spirits who have reached their first Million Metres for the season:
Joi Bear -
Graham Storer -
Juergen Grieb -
Well done youngsters.

Never mind the World Cup or Wimbledon. Instead, let's hear it for our next Free Spirit who has reached his first Million Metres for the season. A much worthier achievement.

Well That’s gratitude for you And to think that I did my absolute best not to ‘ drone ‘ on.
Yesterday, I saw a book in Waterstones, called ‘ Buzz ‘ The Nature and Necessity of Bees by Thor Hanson. It’s now on my Xmas Wish List.
Keep busy Mr Bee.

Re: Millionaires club-Season
Thank you Juergen.
Over the years, this thread has provided a great deal of pleasure and feelings of satisfaction for many Free Spirits, past and present. After all, most of us appreciate some well deserved praise and recognition for our achievements. Something that makes us smile. Something that makes us feel good about ourselves.
Juergen, whatever the source, motivation can only point you in the right direction … It’s your efforts that actually get you there.
I’m wearing my ‘ Mother Hen ‘ hat now and yes, at times there have been other FS who have ‘ endured ‘ my fussing, so I don't see why you should escape. Good luck with your ongoing training plan but take care not to overdo things.
