FM before season end - any candidates?
I've only done one FM this season (way back in mid May 2014) and I'm thinking of doing another one before the season ends. I know plummy has also expressed interest in doing one. If I set one up on RowPro, would there be any interest?
I'm fairly flexible as to dates, but the weekend probably works better for most people. I'm going to Alvor for 10 days from Monday April 27th, so it will have to be before then and probably better not to have it on Sunday 26th as I will be spending a lot of time travelling on the 27th and don't want to have to do so with several cushions.
Saturday April 25th seems like a good option at this stage, but either Saturday or Sunday this weekend would also be an option. If you are interested, please reply to this post, specifying which day(s) you would be available and approximately what time would suit you (using GMT as this is what RowPro uses - 1 hour behind BST, which currently applies in the UK and Ireland).
Thanks
Paul V

I'm not a morning person.
The last time I tried to row at 9 a.m. in connection with an event in London, I forgot to strap in!
It might be a bit early in the day for me, but then again, there would be a certain synchronicity to rowing a marathon while watching one on TV.
I think I might put my name down for it. I could always take my name off the list if we have enough people who want to do it on a different day.

I think this idea is great, as it will be well motivating. Every thought of HDing will be blasted away simultaneously by TV-marathon and by Rowpro-marathon.It might be a bit early in the day for me, but then again, there would be a certain synchronicity to rowing a marathon while watching one on TV.

Unfortunately not.
At the moment I'm still time limited in session duration per day - you know the story.
But I could image to go with you for the first two hours. If I'm cotrect GMT 9:00 is 7:00 am local time for me, what would work for me. But to be sure I have to check with my GF, as I have somehow in mind that on Saturday we're going to visit a new apartment for rent.

Isn't 9am GMT 10:00am BST (which we are now on)? - not quite so early if so Paul.

That's true, plummy. I've put my name down for it. Are you in?

Sorry to hear you're still having problems with your neighbour. I thought you had reached some sort of detente. Is there any chance she might be going away for the weekend?dr3do wrote:Unfortunately not.At the moment I'm still time limited in session duration per day - you know the story.

Good luck with the apartment hunting. I hope you find somewhere suitable where you will be able to row without unreasonable neighbours kicking up a fuss.

No detente.Paul Victory wrote:Sorry to hear you're still having problems with your neighbour. I thought you had reached some sort of detente.
If she will be away, she won't tell us. For me it's not possible to predict or take into account for reliable session planning. Is there any chance she might be going away for the weekend?

Plummy and I have both put our names down for Sunday. There's still a few places available. Any takers?

Re-fuelling now, although by the way I'm feeling it might become "snoozing now" before I get to food

I can imagine this was very demotivating and a good feed for the HD-devils.plummy wrote: therefore it was a bit lonely.

Well done plummy. =D> =D> =D> You showed great guts to finish it, but then again, I wouldn't expect anything different!
Apologies for abandoning you. I'm going to have to find some alternative solution to getting internet connectivity in my gym.
