5km Tuesday Evening 29th April (19:00GMT / 20:00BST)

Post by plummy »

Barbara (Camicrew) and myself have arranged to have a little transatlantic get together to hit exact million marks for the season tomorrow evening on Rowpro (1 million for Barbara and 4 million for me). If anyone else would like to paddle along for metres, fun, training, whatever, you are more than welcome to join us (pace expected to be around 2:08). I'll set it up later today.

I hope I appear as I've been trying to figure out why Rowpro thinks I live in Australia and for once Digital Rowing's support has been rubbish so I've been tinkering with settings on my PC (hasn't fixed it though)

OK my skills at screen grabbing while rowing need a lot of work, but look who it is. Nice boat color, DP. Markus, nice form heading into the catch

Maybe it works now. The gremlins of the interwebs like to mess with me.

Yep - I see it now! It's a pity my stroke technique in reality is nothing like my Rowpro avatar

...and I'm sure Barbara doesn't have a five o'clock shadow like her avatar had (well hidden on this picture though)

Haha! I'll try to remember to have a closer shave before I row next time, Dave, but no guarantees, I sort of enjoy the beastly effect
