Mash, it looks like Boris is due a two hour stint from 19:00 to 21:00 Eastern standard Time.

This translates to midnight to 02:00 GMT.

How long is your wife out for?

Boris - apologies for missing your PB.

mash - you seem determined not to let me pass you on the meter board too easily!

Two more sessions for me today should have seen me do it and reach place 100, but if you do another session, I'll drop back again.

Mind you, I think BorisZ's sessions are after mine, so it's either 11pm-12am or 12am-1am GMT.

On a very quick and dirty calculation I think that we should pass the million mark sometime early in Tricia's session which for her will begin at 11am but which for us London based peeps will be just as we're sitting down for a Friday night beer. 8)

How cool is that!

Possibly though the finish line might appear during Stan's piece just before the Hummingbird takes off which just means we can go for a beer earlier. 8) 8) :D

Keep it spinning.

You may want to factor in to that calculation the fact that I'm taking Mike's 3pm slot....

.....which will slow it down a tad.......

....or 2!
:D

Which makes it more likely to be Tricia!

Yey! Go girls! 8)

No collusion with the Colibri please! :D

I want to be able to go to the pub with the news that we are through the mark and that Tricia and Max are icing the cake as we toast their efforts!

Get behind me Maxim......

11pm it is then....which should certainly kill me for 5am tomorrow!!

That OK with you Boris....I'll probably go straight to bed and not register the time until after the 5am slot though.

Oh I'm going to be a bundle of laughs at work tomorrow...NOT!!

Mash, I think you're an hour out.

The running order has Boris starting his first set at 19:00 EST.

This is midnight our time - not 11pm.

By all means do this slot but rowing midnight to 1am and again at 5am is a big ask!

mash - my mistake (working from memory instead of checking the running order) - Graham's got it right... unlike last night there's a gap between my session and BorisZ's (because he'd "only" planned to do the two hours tonight), so the earliest you could row would be midnight.

Still feel up for that and 5am?

I'll volunteer for the 52nd slot if Mash feels its too much. (That's 6-7pm CST for me). Note I'll be lucky to break 14K though...

I'm back and still alive, just.

Held onto sub 1:57 for 2 hours (30825m I think, but will check once I can get across the room and get the data off the laptop).

Had a drink then carried on for the FM. R hamstring cramped up 6k out so had to row the last bit one legged. Managed to crawl in at 2:45:58.0 (ish - need to check data). Then had a drink, tried to get up, hamstring locked completely. Spent 5 minutes lying on the floor trying to figure out how to get up. Finally managed to get onto a chair and stretch it out. May try standing up again in a few minutes. Will update graph once I have proper figures.

Ow ow ow ow ow.

Wow, but I'm afraid I can't take that offer from Mash - less than 4 hours of sleep and possibly the wrath of his wife - she'll strangle me! But may be Mr. Lemon - if it's not too inconvenient.

Otherwise, I can still do both hours, if all falls apart.
I'll check back later. Great to know that FS do care!

Hope MikeC's hamstring is ok soon. 2:45  - can't wait to see the official results...

Great news - have a text from Marcus OrangeRider - he did his distance - ~14k - but is on training course - hence slow response. Have put in his meters and mine, and we're flying now!

Hamstring working again now. Offical FM time 2:45:57.3...

Now that HURT.

Just seen myself in the mirror - am coated in a fine white layer of salt - look like an alien.

That was one of those epic rows that only come along very rarely (and thank goodness, because that was really hurting by the end)

Have just entered it on the C2 rankings and been told I need a ranking code. Erk.

PB'ed everything from 90mins upwards (90mins, 25k, 30k, 2 hours, 35k, 2:30, FM)

The FM was the 14th fastest in the world this year (and 4th fastest in age and weight category).

My 30k was in 1:56:34.0 (1:56.6)

Am starting to feel a bit stiff...

Next time don't smash any records anymore, then you don't have the hassle of a code! (I just knew your FM time was weak, had to give you a little challenge...)

Very well done Mike - impressive stuff. 8)

For me, each session is getting just that little bit harder than the one before... managed to stop the rot on my metres this time though - improved to 14839m.

mash (or anyone else for that matter) - you can do my 10pm slot tonight if you like... if it's you, mash, you can bury me on the metre board (until tomorrow at least  ).

I'm still physically able to do it, and will do if noone volunteers, but with two sessions =to do tomorrow I'd quite happily give it a miss (and I'm not really too bothered about the 100k in 7 sessions I was aiming for at the start, not if I have to kill myself to achieve it), and if I do it, it really will only be a 14k maximum.

Max (and anyone else suffering with their later sessions) - now you see why I did a recovery row session yesterday at much lower power/intensity. (And why I've been giving away my later sessions!) - but seriously - don't worry about your times/distances if you're tired and/or suffering - we're now massively ahead on the schedule (6% up or nearly a FM) so anything is good enough.

Thomas - had a total of one rest - approx 50 seconds at 31485m in (just after the 2 hour point) had a big drink, quick stretch, flipped the FANAS, and back on.

Boris - my previous FM wasn't a maximal attempt, but wasn't massively soft (until today anyway) as the 3rd or 4th quickest I'd done. Your result (and Shrek's the other day) were both massively impressive - Well done guys.

Feeling a bit tired now - good luck to everyone else. Really hope I don't have to try to row tomorrow...

some good rowing still going on from the free spirits, i see.

i suppose the advantage of my attempt was that it was over quicker!!

mike, fantastic effort on the marathon. had to laugh when i read you post earlier saying "if i do 30k in 1:57s, i might as well go on and do a marathon". most people would be thinking that after a 30k that quicker they might as well lie down in a darkened room.

will have to pass on the offer of doing a slot as well. i did a bit of damage to my knee yesterday (the football probably didnt help!), and my throat is pretty dry still. going to need at least til saturday to recover.
