Sounds like a 30 minutes you might want a cardiac team in attendance for.

What I would be really interested in is how risky are doing these MHR tests, as in can they trigger any harmful affects either there or then, or later.

By the forumla my MHR should be 165 but my last 2K test posted higher (172) and I probably could have been trying harder. It does make a big difference with the zones, I dont know if its conditioned, but I find rowing at 140 I can go lots quicker than 135 and on one measure I am in UT an din the other I'm not!!
