Re: Crazy Bear Challenge-Row 30 HMs in 45 days
Just finished #21. And I felt like doing something special today. So, I pulled like I've never pulled before
And got a new PB of 1:23:49.0! That is 1min 38 sec. faster than my previous PB.

Well done everyone. =D> =D> =D> Having reverted to couch potato made (or not far thereoff) I'm even more impressed by the crazy distances some of my team mates are doing.

As the starter of this thread I am embarrassed at my recent lack of activity
I managed #14 yesterday in 1:30:09.7-2:08.2-27 using DF124-HR140
Well done Juergie on your shiny new PB =D>

Yes, Alan, you should be seriously embarrassed at completing only 14 HM!strider77 wrote:As the starter of this thread I am embarrassed at my recent lack of activity

Re: Crazy Bear Challenge-Row 30 HMs in 45 days
Aw thanks, and big applause to those of you with 30 in your sights!
I've unexpectedly had to commute to downtown Los Angeles the past 2 weeks, calling for 4:30 am wakeups, and resultant sleep deprivation. That sched should change next week so looking fwd to getting back to rowing of both kinds!!
Carry on!

Re: Crazy Bear Challenge-Row 30 HMs in 45 days
Put number 24 to bed this afternoon so it's going to be a valiant effort but no 30 x HMs this time around. I'll maybe get 2 more in by the 24th. I'll take that as I predicted 20 at best.

Superb effort Juergie. Just one is an ambition for many many people so 30 in 45 days is way beyond what most people could even imagine, let alone do- congrats. =D> =D>

Re: Crazy Bear Challenge-Row 30 HMs in 45 days
Finished yesterday on 27 - so pretty good as I initially thought 20 or so would be my limit. Enjoying a couple of erg free calorie indulgent days and then a quick CTC effort (based on nothing but HMs for 6 weeks) and then an attempt to get some speed stamina for EIRC! in 5 weeks - eek!

Huge respect to you, Juergie, for completing the full CB schedule
Also respect to you, Dave, for getting to 27 I suspect there was also a lot of work and family matters to take care of during that same period...
